It's gonna be alright

I don't know how but I am going to do this one,

Good luck babe.

This may or may not be on topic, but relates to how it's going for me: I just love it when life seems to throw everything at me at the same time. I am actually looking forword to December, it will result it a forced vacation.

All Is Fair In Business

from here

A shopkeeper was dismayed when a brand new business much like his own opened up next door and erected a huge sign which read 'BEST DEALS.'

He was horrified when another competitor opened up on his right, and announced its arrival with an even larger sign, reading 'LOWEST PRICES.'

The shopkeeper panicked, until he got an idea. He put the biggest sign of all over his own shop. It read: 'MAIN ENTRANCE'

Also, this is the first visual of parkour I ever saw, impressive to say the least!

Bits and bobs

And so they might hang Saddam. I have no fuzzy feelings for violence or dictators whatsoever, but I wonder if it really is a fair trial (who's on the panel). Will he become a martyr and did anyone remember Mandela when he was IN prison?

Sweden's central heating and free hot water is something not to be taken for granted. I begin to suspect that in some ways UK citizens are more energy savy. What do you say about
  • pay as you go electricity - so you can SEE how much keeping your computer on(line) costs
  • paying a fortune for heating (i.e. gas), hence constant adjustment of thermostats and boiler
It makes the problem of oil more real somehow. So where does my spoiled, albeit comfortably warm, bum fit in the big picture?

The fireworks yesterday were magic. (picture stolen off someone on SU?)

Nice to see you're fit(ter) for fight again! Yeah, the Saddam-story is complicated, but I still think that death penalty is somewhat outdated. Do we (want to) live by the Old testament?

Welcome back darling. Good to see you up and about again! I too was surprised to hear they were going to hang him. I know some places still have the death penalty, but at least they use an injection.

Your bum needs to come to Cali. Sure we have our own energy crisis, but at the same time (most of us) try to conserve... but at least we are fighting the heat and not the cold; which sounds like it might better fit your body temperature.

Of course, here in SoCal we have another way of making oil problems: the fact that you practically can't live on a bicycle/public transport alone. EVERYONE has a car. Drives me crazy.

Awesome firework photo. =)
