Hodgepodge

  • When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts
    • What should be done in preparation when this happens on a global scale, more often or just more? This is not a one off.
    • Food and shelter are luxuries in a cruel world. Nobody owes us anything. And yet so easy to forget. The government often provides, but it is not a birthright.
  • Government censorship (US monitoring, Chinese restrictions and even the hypocrisies of Swedish media)
    • How safe would it be if we really knew what was going on?
    • For us, and for long term developments of societal structure - better, worse or just different?
    • (.... I should really read plato's Republic...)
